Taking bets...

Hi all from the mx site and friends.Havent been around for a while and thought Id check in.Ive got a new girlfriend Ive been entertaining the past couple of weeks and her and her kid are supposed to come out and watch me do my only race of the fall this weekend and i thought I would take bets on wether she makes me faster or slower.

As some of you know when i met the ex-wife,she made me slower,and I soon found myself shopping for candles on Sunday instead of shredding the local mx seen.Now Im rejuvinated,feeling fit and lean and the 02 yz 250 is running nice.Just bumped the mainjet up a notch and she should be good to go.The question is,can I keep my focus in the hotly contested 250 Int class and beat some of the fast kids?Or will i be love struck and ride cautious.

I say I'll kick ass!Any takers?

Hey all,

Well she didnt make me slower,so thats good.I did knife it in a couple of turns,for wrecks during practice and my first 250 int moto but no damage done.Went 2-2 for second in vet intermediate,and 4-2 in 250 int out of 5 riders.I felt fast and beat a few kids in the 250 class so it was a fun weekend.

It was nice to have her there with her son.They stayed for all four motos.The son seemed eager to do something so i put him to work cleaning # plates, fenders, and riding gear.He did a nice job!I rewarded him with a ride back to my pickup after one of my motos.He seemed thrilled.The girlfriend later got a ride too,that thrilled me!

On a funnier note,Ive just gotta get some new riding gear.For the past 8 years Ive only rode during the winter and thus couldnt justify replacing my MSR Guy Cooper 12 year old riding slacks.You know..the blue ones with the pink letters.Hey it was cool back in 90!Apparently a few of the guys I passed were freaking out cuz some guy in pink gear passed them.
